The afternoon program is visiting Watublapi, a hamlet about 18 km south east of Maumere locally known for it's fertile land and rich in exotic tropical plants and fruits. One will be entertained with dances and folksongs accompanied with local dishes and drinks. There is chance to comprehend more about Ikat Weaving - the well-known tie-dyeing weaving technique. (Lunch - Dinner)


There are places around Maumere town worth to be visited, such as Maumere daily market, Wuring - The fishermen village with houses built on the stilt and Ledalero - an Ethnological Museum. Lunch will be served in Paga Beach. During the day you will experience by the dramatic change in both nature and ethnicity. In the afternoon you will find yourself in the Lio ethnics environment. Pay a call to their village such as Lisedetu and try to comprehend the local's daily life or just having a closer in to their work architectures. Proceed to Ranggase or Koanara with traditional houses to comprehend the Lio's ethnic daily life and to understand their work of civilization. Such as the typical Lio House; some of them are decorated with breast figure as to symbolize the fertility and prosperity. The Lio people also well-known for the Ikat weaving the tie-dyeing weaving technique (Breakfast - Lunch -Dinner)

It is worth to experience the sunrise at Kelimutu - the three colored crater lakes (start at about 4 o'clock). Once arrive in Kelimutu one will find something like nowhere, incomparable with known told stories - photo or even moving pictures have you been before. Drive then down to Hotel for breakfast then continue the trip to Ende and will pass ravines and villages. There are chances for photo stops such as Ndua Ria daily fruits market. Lunch will be in Ende. Afternoon program ill include the visit to Penggajawa - locally known as Blue Pebble Beach, where the people colleting blue tiny stones for export market. Proceed afterward to Reworena - the village where you can have closer look into their daily life of Ende ethnic. Woman producing Ikat Weaving and late afternoon are busy in preparing Ndota - the local dish made of fresh tiny chopped manioc (conditional depend on the season). The village also as the black smith centre. End of the day program drive toward Nuabosi until reach the vantage point for the wide-angle view over the Ende town, which is beautifully located on the coastal area fortified by volcanoes. (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)

In the morning visit Wolotopo - the typical coastal village of Lio ethnic. It is better to arrive in the morning as you will experience the dramatic ray of roaming light showering the chopped volcano of Meja at the opposite side of bay with bright golden light. Just sit next to megalithic monuments and animistic shrine in the village and enjoy what the nature and the work of civilization prepare for you. Return to Ende to visit morning market and Exile House of the late Mr. Soekarno - the world famous Indonesian Founding Father. Ende is the place where Mr. Soekarno got an inspiration about PANCASILA - the Five Philosophic Principal of the Nation of Indonesia. In the afternoon drive back to Maumere. (Breakfast - Lunch - Dinner)
