Flores Komodo Timor Alor Round Tour offers a fantastic experience where you will learn about the culture and the people and enjoy the stunning landscapes of the wonderful Flores island. This tour is a private tour with English speaking tour guide. It is available for a solo traveler, couple, family or group.

Itinerary

Tour 1 : Bali - Ende - Moni (-/L/D)
Our Team will pick you up in your hotel in Bali and take you to the airport for the 1'5 hours flight to Ende-Flores. Upon your arrival at the airport in Ende our team will come to meet you and drive you on a winding road to your hotel in Moni aproximately 4 hours passing through beautiful green fields, rice terraces und amazing hills. A la cart dinner will be served in the hotel.

Tour 2 : Moni - Kelimutu - Riung (B/L/D)
Picked up by car at 4.30am and our team will take you aproximately 1 hour to the parking lot at the base of Kelimutu, followed by a short trekking to reach the peak of Kelimutu. Upon arrival on the mountain peak (1.639m above sea level), a spectacular sunrise and the magnificent view of the 3 colored crater lakes will welcome you in the cold morning breze. A jacket is needed here. Return to the hotel for breakfast and the tour continues to the small town of Riung with a stop at the beautiful blue stone beach. Barbeque lunch at the nearest beach while listening to the rush of the timor sea. In the late afternoon check in in Pondok SVD, in Riung.

Tour 3 : Riung - snorkeling tour to Rutong - back to Riung (B/L/D)
Today we will visit one of the 17 islands of Riung Marine Park and also mangrove forest. After breakfast we walk aproxmately 5 minutes to pier of Riung and a boat will take us first to the mangrove forest, where we can see thousands of bats that are flying around in the forest. From there proceed to Rutong island for snorkeling, swiming or relaxing on the white sand beach. Lunch will be served on the island. After lunch you have time to relax on the beach. You can also go swiming and snorkeling. Return to Riung and back to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

Tour 4 : Riung - Soa hot spring - Bajawa (B/L/D)
After breakfast the tour will take you to Bajawa, to a small town in central Flores. It takes approximately 3,5 hours on a small and winding road with a beautiful mountainous landscape. After a long drive from Riung you will stop in So'a, then enjoy the healing waters of So'a thermal hot spring, a romantic thermal bath in the river. After lunch you will visit Bena traditional village. This encient village is located 21km south of Bajawa with the beautiful panorama overlooking the Inerie active volcano. In the village you will encounter the megalithic stone formation and the HUTS, which symbolize the male and female ancestors of the clan. In the late afternoon check in in the Happy-happy hotel in Bajawa. Dinner will be served in the rastaurant nearby.

Tour 5 : Bajawa - Aimere - Rana Mese lake - Ruteng (B/L/D)
After breakfast we will pick you up and take you to Ruteng on a small and winding road with beautiful panorama over the majestic mountains and the green fields. On a half way there we will have a short stop in Aimere, where we could see the production of local alcoholic drink called Arak in a very traditional way. Lunch will be served in Borong. After lunch we will visit the beautiful Ranamese lake, which lies in the middle of the lush tropical rainforest. In the late afternoon we arrive in Ruteng. Check in in Maria Bunda, a closter of the catholic nuns instead of a hotel. Dinner will be served in Spring Hill restaurant.

Tour 6 : Ruteng - Waerebo traditional village (B/L/D)
Today the tour starts in the early morning. The car will take us to Denge aproximately 3,5 hours on a small and winding road passing through small villages, rice fields and green hills. Lunch will be served in a local restaurant in Denge. After lunch the car will take you to the mountain and stop at the starting point of the trek up the Waerebo village. From there you will walk up the steep hill aproximately 3 hours on a small path in the forest. Make sure that you are physicly strong. Trekking shoes are recommended for this hiking as sometimes the path is slipery, especialy after rain.

Tour 7 : Waerebo - Cunca Wulang - L.Bajo (B/L/-)
After breakfast treking down the mountain and back to Denge. From there the car take us for aproximately 3,5 hours to Labuan Bajo. We will visit Cunca Wulang waterfall and enjoy swimming in the river if the water is clear. Cunca Wulang is located aproximately 2km. from the parking area. We will walk into the forest and cross 2 other rivers on modern hanging bridges. Trekking shoes are very important as sometimes the path is slipery. In the late afternoon we will arrive in L.Bajo and check in in the hotel Puri Sari or other similar hotel.

Tour 8 : L.Bajo -Kelor - Rinca island - Padar Island Trekking (B/L/D)
After breakfast in the Hotel the car will pick you up and take you to the pier of L.Bajo for about 10 minutes. A traditional wooden boat is waiting for us there. Jump in the boat and cross the sea to Rinca island. On the way to Rinca we will have a stop in Kelor for snorkeling. This island offers a gorgeous corrall garden with plenty of colorful corrall fishes. After snorkeling the boat will take us to Rinca. Around 12:00 am we arrive in Rinca. The trekking starts from the ranger station and goes into the dry forest and the savanna to the authentic habitat of the wild Komodo dragons. After aproximately 1'5 hours trekking we return to the boat and cross the sea to Padar island. Padar is one of the most amazing sights in Indonesia that everybody must see in the Komodo tour. During the trekking onto the hill top of this rough island we will witness a spectacular sunset and amazing views over the hills and white sand beaches around. Dinner and overnight on the boat.

Tour 9 : Padar island - Komodo island - Pink Beach - Manta point - Kanawa (B/L/D)
On the next day the boat leaves the Padar island very early at 6:00am. It takes 1'5 hours to reach Komodo island. At 8:00am we start trekking into the forest. Between 7:00am to 10:00am there is a big oportunity to see the Komodo dragons. Komodo island is not only a home to Komodo dragons but also a great place to see the endemic birds and other animals. After breakfast the boat is heading to pink beach for snorkeling and relaxing. In the afternoon we will visit the manta point if the weather condition permits. Here we will witness these unique mamals. In the late afternoon we will arrive in Kanawa. overnight and dinner on the boat.

Tour 10 : Kanawa island - the Pool of Rangko - L.Bajo - Check in the hotel. (B.L/-)
In the morning we have the oportunity to relax on the beach and go swimming. Lunch will be served on the boat. From there the boat will take us to rangko, where we can enjoy swimming in a pool that is situated in the cave. If we are lucky, we will be alone there without any other tourist. In the late afternoon return to the pier of L.Bajo and back to the hotel Puri Sari.

Tour 11 : Return Flight to Bali (B/-/-)
Pick up from the hotel in the morning and transfer to the airport for the flight back to Bali or continue to the next destination.
