Itinerary

Picked up from your hotel at 08:00am and the trip starts with Barong dance show. It is a part of balinese cultural and religious performance. 2 fantastic creatures namely Barong (symbol of the good spirit) will fight against Rangda (the one that symbolizes the bad spirit), but no one of them will be the winner. After the dance performance, you will visit celuk village (the center of the gold and silver smiths) and then the tour will continue to Kemenuh village to the center of the wood carving handy crafts. From there the tour will continue to Ceking rice-terraces that is located about 30km north of Ubud. This place is amazing. It is one of the most photographed rice-terraces on the island. At this place you can try optional activities such as swing & zipline, and then you can also visit the spices garden nearby where you can taste the world's most famous coffee which is called Luwak coffee, the poo of the mongoose. From there you will enjoy a one hour drive to Kintamani, a village that is located at the rim of the massive Batur volcano crater. While having lunch you can enjoy the wonderful panorama of the mount Batur (1717m) and the Batur lake, both are located in the massive crater. After lunch you will visit the Tirta empul temple. In this temple there is a holy spring where you can enjoy bathing in the pool with more than 20 fontains. This holy spring is paticularly for a special ritual called MELUKAT, but also open for public use. Back to the hotel.
