Komodo village is one of fishing villages that are found in Komodo National Park. This village is located in the coastline of south east Komodo island. Komodo Village is about 198,08km2. The people of Komodo Village are thought to have settled there less than 100 years ago. There is some speculation that the first settlers of Komodo Village were exiles from Bima. In 1928 there were only 30 people living in Komodo Village. The survey in 2017 has counted that the total population of the village are 1.764 people.
